Healthy skin helps make life better
The condition of the skin around your stoma greatly affects how well the skin barrier can adhere, as well as your comfort and quality of life. Maintaining healthy peristomal skin from the start is our ultimate goal.Try CeraPlus™ skin barrier today
The difference is ceramide
CeraPlus skin barrier is infused with ceramide, the skin's naturally occurring protection against dryness. It's designed to maintain adhesive properties, and features a formulation infused with ceramide to help:
- Protect the skin's natural moisture barrier1
- Maintain good peristomal skin health1
- Decrease transepidermal water loss (TEWL) from damaged or eroded skin1

The role of moisture in healthy skin
When you remove your ostomy barrier, cells from the outermost layer of skin are also removed with it. The loss of these protective cells allows more moisture from inside your body to escape into the environment. This is called transepidermal water loss (TEWL). Increased rates of water loss can make the skin more vulnerable to damage and peristomal skin complications.
Choose CeraPlus skin barrier — the ostomy barrier designed to help ensure healthy skin.

The ceramide-infused formulation of the CeraPlus skin barrier may provide protection against the potentially damaging effects of repeated skin barrier use.
