Paul
Associate Project Process EngineerAt Hollister, you’re always supported and encouraged to speak up.
After finishing college with an engineering degree, I secured a position at the Hollister Incorporated manufacturing facility in Ballina, Ireland, as an Operator for machinery. Joining Hollister was a foot in the door with a large, global company with a great reputation.
After three years of working on the night shift, I transferred to the day shift on a new machine. My job was to change and improve the machine in order to help launch a new product. After six months, and with the help of my colleagues, I successfully completed that project and was promoted to Graduate Project Process Engineer, where I spent about two years. Since that time, I have been working as an Associate Project Process Engineer, caring for machines on a daily basis to make sure they maintain a good quality output.
Hollister is innovative and performance-driven. We make sure our machines produce the highest quality products possible. We are always looking to see how we can improve the machines to make the products better performing, better looking, or more user-friendly for the people who use them.
The best thing about Hollister is the people. Everyone here is so friendly – there is always someone to help you if you need it. I’ve been with Hollister for more than seven years now, and have felt supported every minute. You’re encouraged to speak up – to come up with new ideas to improve performance and quality. I’ve never come across a situation where there’s been a conflict. It’s just so nice to work here.
